- I worked on deep (5100-5600 m), slim directional holes (5 7/8”, 4 1/8” & 3 7/8” ) with tapered drill string.
- I mostly worked on HTHP wells with Directional & LWD tools from high angle to horizontal wells.
- Worked with DST & Completion Fluids of single salt and combination of two i.e. NaCl, KCl, CaCl2, HCOONa, HCOOK.
- Sodium Silicate Air Foam drilling experienced in depleted zones.
- Drilled wells in depleted zones with Sodium silicate system by blind drilling and placement of quick set cement plugs.
- I keenly focus over hole cleaning and so optimize fluid properties for hydraulics and best ROP with hole cleaning.
- I worked on the wells where Loss & Gain encounters in same section, so I supervised for placements of gunk and/or barite plugs. I have skills in well killing techniques and procedures.
- I check cuttings integrity on shakers by regular time intervals and make adjustments in fluid chemistry accordingly.
- Well literate about the principals of working mechanisms of solid control equipment and their usage for mud maintenance.
- Geology, subsurface structure, Lithologies and their relationship with drilling and down hole problems.
- Daily and final well reporting with inventory management, Hydraulic optimization and Kill sheet etc.
- Worked with OGDCL, PPL, POL, MOL, SAIF ENERGY, Mari Gas, Eni and PEL as One Man Drilling Fluids Engineer.
- Numerous Exploratory & Development wells: In Kohat, Potwar, Tal and Karak Blocks – Northern Pakistan. Dhodhak & Rodhoo Central Indus Basin. Pirane, Bhadra, Kadamwari & Qadarpur blocks in southern Pakistan. HTHP wells. Temp upto: ± 375 Fº, Angle: Upto 90º, Mud weight: upto 2.4 SG.
